The Band Toto Asia
Toto was expanding production facilities abroad, and doing business in France and Germany, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. North America was seen as an area of growth for toilets and bidet seats, as opposed its "base" markets in Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto recorded Toto words so that the next generation could be able to read the words. Many words were replaced with foreign words. For example, dui, which is Bengali for verandah, was used.
Origins
Toto's early history that began in 1917, mirrored Japan's rapid economic expansion. In the beginning, Toto made products to meet the demands for modern, new urban housing. To achieve this, it employed the first tunnel kiln in the country that produced ceramics in a continuous flow. It also pioneered automation to allow production control, which helps to increase efficiency and consistency.
The company began expanding internationally in the latter part of the 1980s to profit from new markets and sales opportunities. The company created the Cera Trading Company to import and market other manufacturers' products in order to enhance its own line of sanitary earthenwares as well as plumbing fittings. This strategy increased sales and increased the firm's global market share.
In the 1990s, Toto had shifted its emphasis on research and development for household appliances that use water. It also improved its distribution system to better serve the needs of customers and boost profits. The company employed the same approach of just-in-time in its supply chain management as well as sales program. This led to a higher level of customer satisfaction.
Toto continued to innovate toilet technology. Its most recent toilet, for example it has an extremely powerful tornado flush that is more environmentally green than traditional toilets. The company also uses recycled water in its manufacturing process and has a green purchasing policy. In addition to toilets Toto produces bathtubs and faucets, as well as hand dryers that are more efficient in energy use than conventional models.
The company's first museum opened in 2015 It has exhibits about Toto's iconic products and their development and its group companies (all that deal with ceramics) as well as the history of plumbing and products such as bath units and, in a separate gallery, Toto products sold around the world. The museum also has a bathroom that features a WASHLET toilet as well as other toilet-related innovations.
Before the formation of Toto, members of the group performed session work for a variety of musicians. Boz Scaggs' album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich and guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather and drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also played on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
It is common for a group with a name like Asia to be a prog band however it's actually a fairly straight forward rock band. The band began as four-piece, and released two albums that were self-titled in 1979 and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. However, even though the group have a diverse musical background, their biggest success was in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a huge blockbuster, but it was not without its share of issues. Record companies put the band on spot with the ultimatum "give us an album that is a success or we'll take you off the market" and the pressure was on to deliver. Toto was able achieve this with the help from the smash hit "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is a result of their prior experience since the members had been session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts before starting the group. Their distinctive sound has become the standard of 1980s music, and has inspired a lot of contemporary artists.
This album starts off hard with tracks like Running Out of Time and Unknown Soldier showcasing the bands ability to write fantastic AOR songs that slowly work their hooks into you. But the album also contains some more mellow, jazzy tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album closes with Great Expectations. This song mixes folk and distorted AOR, which should seem like a complete blunder, but is very effective.
After Toto IV the band's fortunes started to plummet. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career and the band was through numerous drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the group due to drug charges. The band remained with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Toto released Isolation despite the turbulence. It was not as popular as IV. However, the group managed to release another chart-topping album in the year 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. This album marked the conclusion of the original Toto lineup and was also the first album to feature the new singer, Simon Phillips.
Tours
The band has performed around the world to a global audience of millions, with sold-out shows across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia and New Zealand. The band's repertoire is vast and their catalog has amassed over billion streams on streaming services around the world. The band's music has inspired generations of fans.
Steve Lukather has forged a rich, deep friendship with Joe Williams that is flourishing professionally around the world. In 2018 the duo celebrated their 40th anniversary of Tours Around the Sun with a hugely successful tour across the globe. The album with the same name reached #5 on Billboard 200. The latest tour of the band features their greatest hits rare live deep-cuts as well as some songs from Lukather's and Williams individual catalogs.

Line-up
The album's third, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet style of previous albums. It was a more ferocious, consistent effort that had a harder edge than Hydra. The more edgy sound of the album was a reflection of the maturation of the group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's improved ability on the drums and a more confident, mature vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams. 스포츠토토 was also sharper, more complex, and less derivative on previous recordings.
After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live concert in Amsterdam that was released as a two-CD set entitled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. The group released a new studio album just a few months after, and went on a tour around the world to support the album. During this period, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started looking through old demo tapes and tapes to make an album that would feature songs that had never been recorded before. The album was released in 2001 and released as a double album titled Then & Now. It was the band's first album that did not contain the single track "A". The album also included a previously unreleased track titled "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New was a commercial failure and vocalist Williams was suffering from laryngitis, which limited his singing ability. 토토사이트 순위 returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming was replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes and the other members of Asia--Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened an event in England in the beginning of 2006 to discuss the possibility of formally reforming the band. This lineup, minus Howe (who was a member of Yes at the time), eventually became known as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also featured a guest appearance by singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
