The Band Toto Asia
Toto expanded its production facilities abroad, and doing business in France and Germany, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. North America was seen as an area of growth for Washlet toilets and bidet seats, in contrast to its "base" markets in Japan and China.
안전놀이터 순위 recorded Toto words so that the next generation could read them. However, many of the words were being replaced with foreign ones, such as dui, which is Bengali for verandah.
Origins
The company was founded in 1917 and its early years were a mirror of Japan's economic development. In the first half of its existence, the company made goods to meet demand for modern and contemporary urban housing. It was the first tunnel kilns in the country to produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered automation to allow production control, allowing greater efficiency and a more consistent production.
In the late 1980s the company began expanding overseas in order to benefit from sales and new markets. The company founded the Cera Trading Company to import and sell other products from other manufacturers to enhance its own line of sanitary earthenwares as well as plumbing fittings. This strategy helped increase sales and expanded the firm's global market share.
By the 1990s, Toto had shifted its focus on research and development of household appliances that are water-related. It also upgraded its system of distribution to better serve customers and boost profits. The company adopted a just-in-time approach to managing its supply chain and applied the same methodology for its sales process. This resulted in a higher level of satisfaction with the customer.
Toto has been able to continue to innovate on the toilet technology. Its most recent toilet, for instance, has a strong tornado flush that is more eco friendly than traditional toilets. The company uses recycled water for its manufacturing process, and has a green buying policy. Toto also produces faucets, bathtubs and hand dryers with higher energy efficiency than standard models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It has exhibitions on Toto’s seminal products and their evolution, the group companies (all of which are made of ceramics) and the history of plumbing, and other products like bath units. In an additional gallery, you will find Toto products that are sold throughout. The museum also has a bathroom that includes the WASHLET toilet, as well as other toilet-related innovations.
Before the formation of Toto the members of the band did sessions for a variety of musicians. Boz Scaggs' album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich, guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather, drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also played on records by Steely Don, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
With a name like Asia you'd expect the group to be prog queens and kings but they're actually a fairly straightforward rock group. The band started out as a quartet and recorded two albums: 1979's self titled debut, and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. However, even though the group have a diverse musical background their biggest breakthrough came in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a huge blockbuster, but it was not without its share of issues. The record companies put the band under pressure to deliver an album that was a success or else they would pull them. Toto was able to do this with the help from the smash hit "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is the result of their previous experiences. Before forming the group, the members were session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their distinctive sound has become the standard for the '80s, and has influenced many contemporary artists.
The album opens up hard with songs like Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write fantastic AOR tunes that slowly get into your head. The album also includes some more jazzy, slower tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations, a song that mixes folk with distortion AOR and could sound completely wrong, but actually works amazingly well.
After Toto IV the band's fortunes started to plummet. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career and the band went through various drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the band after drug charges. The band continued with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Despite the turbulence, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation that was not as successful as IV. The band was able to release a chart-topping album, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. This album marked the conclusion of the original Toto lineup and was also the first album to feature a new singer, Simon Phillips.

Steve Lukather has forged a colorful, deep friendship with Joe Williams that is flourishing professionally all over the world. In 2018, the duo celebrated 40 years of Tours Around The Sun with a hugely successful tour around the world. The album that bears the same name was ranked #5 on Billboard 200. The band's newest tour features their greatest hits rare live deep-cuts as well as an assortment of songs that come from Lukather's and Williams' individual catalogues.

Line-up
The album's third, Turn Back, marked a return to the classic sextet style of previous albums. It was a stronger, more consistent effort with an edge that was more pronounced than Hydra. The edgier sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the development of the group. The drummer Bobby Kimball's increasing virtuosity was reflected by the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard playing was also sharper, more complex, and less derivative on previous efforts.
After touring to promote their album, the band recorded the band's Amsterdam live show that was released by Eagle Records as a 2-CD set entitled Falling In Between. A new studio album was released a few months later, and the group went on a world-wide tour in support of it. During this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich, and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich & Lukather began searching through old tapes & demos to discover songs that had never been recorded prior to. 메이저사이트 바록가기 was released in 2001 and released as a double album titled Then and Now. It was the first album by the band that did not include any single song that had the word "A" in the title, and it also contained one previously not released track, "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and singer Williams was suffering from a severe laryngitis condition which limited his singing capabilities. Additionally, Hungate returned to Nashville as a drummer, and Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.
Downes and the other members of Asia--Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened an event in England in the early part of 2006 to discuss the possibility of formally reforming the group. This lineup, with the exception of Howe (who was busy with Yes at the time) was eventually referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also featured the appearance of singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
